Whatever the technology, laser hair removal is a course, not a single visit: hair grows in phases, and the laser only affects follicles in the active phase. A full result therefore takes 6–10 treatments a few weeks apart — the practitioner draws up the exact plan during the consultation. With every treatment there is less hair and it grows finer, so the course gets quicker and more pleasant as it goes.
